Once the scheme is approved in principal, the project goes to full design stage with input from other professionals as required.

Detailed drawing information is prepared together with written scheduling of proposed work.

Written contractual obligations on contractors are prepared which act to protect the client against extra costs.

In tandem with the design process, EDS seek approvals from Building Control and where necessary planning approval.

If required will seek tenders for the project, generally by the issue of a digital tender incorporating drawing files and documents.

Only pre-qualified contractors will be suggested to the client.

As a further protection, a comprehensive evaluation of all returned tenders is undertaken to ensure items have been costed correctly.

Once awarded, EDS will act as the clients agent to monitor the project ensuring it is carried out in a manner consistent with the design.
